I picked up the call, then did a quick search online and stumbled upon some rather insightful reviews. There was a bit of a din in the background, and I thought I caught a woman’s voice amidst it all. I dialled the number from my mobile to check it out and was met with a message saying, “this number is not in service.” Quite dodgy, if you ask me. I’m with everyone else on this one - best to just block the number!

Got a call from Energy Scotland saying they had to do a Health and Safety inspection in my home about insulation. It's definitely a con - pretending it's a safety check just to push insulation on people is wrong and probably preys on those who are more vulnerable.

I've stopped picking up calls from this number altogether. The initial call I received back in April seemed to be for some kind of survey, and ever since then, I've been getting about one call a week. I’ve labelled it as Potential Fraud on my device. It’s quite disconcerting to see that despite being flagged and reported to the proper channels, they’re still at it several months later. Makes me wonder what the hold-up is!
