I received a call from a woman with a Scottish accent who identified herself as being from "Edinburgh Research". She even addressed me by my name.

I received a call from someone sounding like they had a West of Scotland accent, probably female. They said they were with Edinburgh Research and mentioned my name specifically. When I suggested passing a message since the person they wanted wasn't available, they promptly hung up. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

I had an unusual phone call earlier from someone with a female accent typical of the West of Scotland. She stated she was affiliated with Edinburgh Research and addressed me by name. However, when I suggested leaving a message since the person she was after wasn’t available, she promptly hung up instead. Quite odd, to say the least!

I received a call from this number that lasted only a short while before it cut off. I didn’t recognise it, so I opted not to pick up. Honestly, I’m getting rather weary of all these pestering sales calls and dubious scammers trying to get in touch!

I mentioned to them that we were registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and she assured me she would take us off their contact list. Sounds like a typical marketing ploy, doesn’t it?

It appears to be a dodgy operation trying to pinch a moment or two from our busy lives. I wouldn’t be surprised if this so-called ‘company’ is also linked to the number 01236 884464, which has rang us before.

I haven't a clue who that caller was. I've got Call Guardian set up and they didn't give a name when I asked. If it’s a genuine caller, they’re usually quite willing to state who they are.
