I reckon this might be one of those overseas firms pretending to be local with a UK number. The lassie on the phone had a proper South African twang, which you hardly hear around Coatbridge. She dangled a £2000 home improvement deal but shut it down sharp when I mentioned I’m a council renter. Seemed really abrupt and not very professional to me. Not impressed.
