Got a call from an Indian bloke with a thick accent claiming my router was hacked or something, said he was from BT Openreach. These sorts of calls aren’t rare, but this guy kept chuckling awkwardly throughout the call like it was a joke. I asked if he always found it amusing to scam people, but he just brushed it off and kept going. When I questioned whether he knew who I was or if I even had a BT account, he suddenly shouted and called me a proper rude name. Must’ve caught him in a bad mood or something! Blocked the number straight away.
