Received a call purporting to be from Amazon UK, insisting that funds would be withdrawn from my account unless I pressed 1 to speak to a manager. I wisely refrained from pressing 1 and promptly hung up. I then reached out to Amazon UK directly, who confirmed that it was definitely not them. Quite the dodgy tale!
