A guy with an Indian accent called me to pitch a mobile phone deal. I told him I wasn't interested, but he kept pestering me about my reasons. After a few tries, he just said "okay, cheers" and ended the call. Honestly, that kind of behaviour feels quite unprofessional and definitely raises suspicion.

I got a call from this number pushing a mobile phone deal, and then I was passed over to a woman claiming her name was Mary Parker from India. They asked for my bank info to arrange a direct debit and did three tough credit checks on me. Instead of one, they charged me twice £30, telling me I'd get the money back once the phone showed up. But the phone never turned up. When I tried ringing back using the contact details on the dodgy email they sent, I was told it was actually Domino's Pizza!
