Got a call with a recorded message saying my internet would be cut off in a day due to some issue. It asked me to press 1 to speak to an engineer. I didn’t press anything and they just ended the call. Sounds like a scam to me.

Got a call around lunchtime on Tuesday 24th April from a lady with an American accent on a recorded message. She claimed some strangers from different countries had hacked my internet account, and they said I needed a new router which they'd send for free to fix it. Then, she said to press "1" to speak to an engineer for instructions. It felt just like the other scams people have mentioned here, only with different numbers, so I just ended the call.
