I've received dodgy calls where they're insisting on getting my home address for some so-called survey. It all seems a bit fishy if you ask me!

Cheers, everyone! Just wanted to share that I received a call from a call centre based in Abingdon, which raised my suspicions. It popped up as a possible fraud alert on my phone. It seems to have the hallmarks of a scam trying to fish for sensitive financial information! Stay savvy and keep your wits about you!

Just a heads up, it seems like I've been getting calls from some Indian con artists. Best to ignore them if they ring you up!

I wasn’t familiar with the caller, so I let it ring out. They didn’t leave a voicemail, so I went ahead and blocked the number before deleting it.

Received a call from someone who mistakenly requested the wrong name. Then, they proceeded to insist they could assist me while I was on the line, only to abruptly hang up. Quite bizarre, really!

I struggled to make sense of what he was saying; when I requested he say it again, all I got was a yawn before he went on rambling. I’d had enough, so I cut the conversation short and blocked him! Complete waste of time!

I returned the call and it turns out they're from "I Love My Offers." Seems to be some kind of online platform for deals and competitions. I've decided to block them.

Tried calling but got no response, so I’ve had to block the number.

I'm not picking up those calls. If they were genuine, they'd leave a message, wouldn't they? The absence of any voicemail just screams scam to me.

They were probing about my age and where I reside, even though they already had my name and address. Then they started bombarding me with questions about whether I read newspapers! The bloke on the other end had an Asian accent, and it was pretty clear this was a dodgy call, so I decided enough was enough and hung up.
