Fraudsters alert! Be sure to inform the police about these calls. These people are basically trying to steal from you. Search ‘action fraud’ on Google. Go to the ‘police.uk’ website. Find the ‘reporting’ tab. From the dropdown, choose the phishing report option. Scroll past the info about scam emails to file the report. You don’t need to sign up or anything. It’s quicker than just complaining here. Then share on here so others know about the scam. Make sure you report all scam texts and calls to help protect those who might be tricked. Someone rang pretending to be from Virgin Media, saying my phone had been hacked and asking me to let him connect through my WiFi to fix it. Totally a scam!
