Just another dodgy con from India, it seems.

Received a call with no one on the other end. Heard the sound of someone disconnecting.

Someone rang me up claiming to be from Three, inquiring whether I was satisfied with my service. They then dangled a tantalising 45% discount on my contract. The amusing part? I don’t even have a contract with Three! So, I simply ended the call.

I suspect it's some kind of con; I decided to terminate the call.

Dodgy callers, if you ask me. I can distinctly hear a bustling office ambiance while an Indian lady is attempting to converse with me.

I had a chap on the line claiming to be from 3 mobile, keen to discuss some sort of upgrade. The moment I picked up, he launched straight into a barrage of different plans and prices. I told him I wasn't keen and ended up hanging up.

Just a quick heads-up: that so-called scam alert number is a total ruse. Best to steer clear!

I had a rather peculiar encounter with a chap who had an Indian accent. He was keen to check my date and place of birth, which I found quite odd. When I inquired about why he needed that information, he seemed caught off guard and claimed he couldn't disclose anything for 'security' reasons. It left me feeling rather uneasy, to say the least.

I've had two phone calls from this number already, and I'm anticipating that I'll be inundated with similar calls from different numbers over the course of this week.

This appears to be a fraudulent call. They're fishing for your personal information. It’s best to ignore this number completely and put a block on it.
