Received a call from an Indian number today – they were pitching some sort of mobile discount deal. When I probed further and bluntly asked, "Are you attempting to fleece me of my hard-earned cash?" they abruptly cut the line! I've now added them to my blocked contacts.

They claimed they could offer me a reduction on my O2 account. However, when I inquired about the name on the account, they pivoted to discussing my Virgin account instead. It struck me as a scam, so I decided to entertain them for a while before I lost interest and ended the call. Best to steer clear, unless you fancy toying with these muppets like I do!
