I too got a rather surprising call from this number recently. An individual with an Indian accent was on the line, claiming he could assist me in landing a "proper job" and inquired about my present salary. I decided to wrap things up by informing him that I was quite happily employed and had no intentions of seeking new opportunities at the moment.

It's high time we put an end to these automated calling systems. Honestly, where on earth do they obtain our phone numbers? The UK really ought to clamp down on cold calling practices, or better yet, ban them entirely. It should be made illegal to make unsolicited calls for marketing or sales purposes—it's just a nuisance!

Despite being blocked and asked to cease communication, they persist in calling!

I received a call from this number on my phone, but they didn’t leave a voicemail. Interestingly, a similar number rang me not long ago, which I suspect might be from the same marketing firm. I’m reluctant to ring them back since I’m not familiar with the number—there’s a chance it's simply a robocaller checking if my number is active.
