But when I pressed him, he mentioned other suppliers too and it was obvious he wasn’t even from Scottish Power. He didn’t seem bothered about the fact that changing providers could mean cancelling my current contract, which might cost me. When I pointed out that the call sounded almost exactly like another one I’d had from a different number just under an hour before, he got pretty defensive.
