Somebody called saying they were from a property management company and asked if I was having issues with things like mould or damp in my home. I told them no, then asked where they’d gotten my number from. They just wouldn’t reply, instead said “Oh, must be a wrong number” and then ended the call. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

I received a dodgy call-someone was rambling in broken English, claiming that my internet connection was being accessed from California while I’m sitting here in the UK. Made me wonder if I’ve inadvertently shared any passwords! I could sense trouble brewing, so I told him I struggled to hear properly and suggested that if he really had my details, he should email me. If he couldn’t provide that, I certainly wasn’t buying his story. So, I promptly ended the call.
