Got a missed call from a number flagged as possible spam. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t BT or Openreach since they normally ring from an 0800 number. Didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either. The caller said something about “Abingdon!” Strange.

Somebody called saying they were from a property management company and asked if I was having issues with things like mould or damp in my home. I told them no, then asked where they’d gotten my number from. They just wouldn’t reply, instead said “Oh, must be a wrong number” and then ended the call. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Curry’s PC World, but their English was really shakey. I seriously doubt a big company like that would send someone who can hardly speak properly for a cold call. Best just to hang up and ignore it!

Got a call at 8:10 in the morning but didn’t pick up. Checked the voicemail afterwards and there was nothing there. Pretty sure it was one of those cold call scams.

A guy with really bad English called, saying my internet was being used over in California (I'm in the UK). He asked if I’d been sharing my passwords or something. I wasn’t buying it, so I told him I’m a bit hard of hearing and asked him to send me an email with my details if he really knew them. When he couldn’t do that, I pretty much knew he was dodgy and ended the call.
