I've been receiving persistent calls from this number.

They always ring me when I’m eating, which is just annoying. I mostly just block any calls that don’t show a number these days, works best for me.

Like most days now, I just let the ringing go unanswered, then dialled 1471 out of curiosity to check the number. After that, I googled it to figure who might have been trying to reach me. I hardly pick up my phone anymore unless I’m expecting someone or recognise the caller, because honestly, over 90% of the calls on our landline turn out to be annoying spam. Honestly, if it wasn’t for needing the line for the broadband I’d have ditched the landline ages ago. I’m even thinking of boxing the phones up and stashing them in the loft!

Received a call around half past twelve, inquiring about a car accident allegedly involving someone from our household. My wife clearly stated 'no' and promptly hung up. I've now placed a block on that number to avoid any further nonsense.

I've got a trueCall device that effectively blocks this number, so they can’t reach me. Instead, they’re greeted by my recorded message requesting they refrain from calling again. Yet, curiously enough, they persist! It’s not unusual for them to ring multiple times a day. Is there really no way to put a stop to this nonsense?

This afternoon, my elderly mother, who is a widow, received a rather alarming phone call claiming that someone at her address had been involved in a car accident. Naturally, she hung up straight away since she lives alone, but the call unnerved her greatly, prompting her to reach out to us family members to ensure everything was alright. Thankfully, it was! The unfortunate part is that her phone doesn’t have caller ID, so she ends up answering every call. I genuinely hope she doesn’t get any more of these distressing calls, but judging by what others have said, it seems quite likely she might.

I’m constantly being hounded by this number. If I just pick up the phone and don’t say a word, they eventually hang up, but it's dreadfully dull and quite tiresome-especially considering I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. The number in question is 01234 945006.

Would you believe it, I actually had a claim just a couple of years back! Picture this: I had parked my motor in a cinema car park, and out of the blue, some bloke whacks into it. Thankfully, nobody was injured, and he kindly left a note apologising. His insurance company handled everything seamlessly-loan car included-so it cost me absolutely nothing. Absolutely splendid! That's the kind of story I relish sharing with those pesky cold callers! Honestly, give it a go; you might be pleasantly surprised!

Tonight, I found myself on the receiving end of yet another incessant call claiming to be from the Road Traffic Accident agency, stating they had been alerted to an accident I supposedly had, which I didn’t even experience. I was a bit curt, but maintained a semblance of politeness, and eventually, they hung up. Surely, there must be a way for our government or telecom providers to put an end to these vexatious calls? It’s becoming rather tiresome!

I just had a call from 01234 945006. It was one of those automated services, featuring a recorded woman’s voice claiming they were aware someone from this number had been involved in a mishap over the past couple of years. As soon as I refrained from confirming any details-being fully aware of this sleazy ploy-the call abruptly ended.

Received a call from a group calling themselves the "UK Advice Bureau" - if my memory serves me correctly - mentioning an incident involving a car accident that occurred in the last two years. Cheerio! I reckon it's high time some proper action gets taken against these folks. All of them, to be fair!

I'm utterly exasperated with these incessant calls! No matter how much you try to reason with them, they just keep on ringing. In my frustration, I decided to invest in the BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker, and what a game-changer that has been! Although they’re still making an effort to get through, I’ve managed to block their number, and now they can't reach me at all. I do, however, get notifications of their attempts. Absolutely chuffed with this outcome!

I received a call meant for my elderly mother, who struggles with her hearing. She caught wind of the word 'accident' during the conversation and became absolutely frantic. She called me in complete distress! It's outrageous; these scammers ought to face legal consequences for their horrid intimidation tactics.

I’ve been inundated with calls from these individuals concerning a minor car accident I was involved in. It was a bump where someone collided with my rear end, but thankfully, no one sustained any injuries, and the insurance from the other party covered all the damages. Last week alone, they bombarded me with three calls in one afternoon, and just now, they’ve tried reaching me four times! I firmly requested them to cease their calls and remove my details from their list, but the young lady on the line insisted I hadn’t pursued my compensation for personal injury. I reiterated that there were no injuries at all and raised my voice in frustration, pleading for them to stop. This feels like harassment, and I sincerely wish there was a way to put an end to it.

I received a call from this number, and upon answering, an automated voice chirped, "Hello, how are you?" After a rather lengthy silence, it disconnected with a brief "goodbye." Quite frankly, these calls are nothing short of a nuisance and a complete waste of my time. It's about time the service provider took action and terminated the line for these individuals.

I received a phone call earlier today about a car accident from the past two years. I hung up immediately. Honestly, I’m so tired of all these dodgy scam calls!

Received a couple of calls in the space of just two days - curious, isn’t it? During the first exchange, I inquired how on earth they had gotten wind of my supposed involvement in an accident over the last two years, as claimed by the rather persistent voice. They mentioned something about the RTA Department. So, naturally, I probed further, asking whether this 'RTA Department' referred to a police force or something. When they failed to provide a satisfactory answer, a lightbulb went off in my head, and I cheekily asked if I was chatting with an automated system. Their response? A rather blunt 'Yes.' At that point, I couldn't help but suggest they divert their incessant pestering towards someone else - perhaps the police would enjoy their company more! To my amusement, the voice replied, 'We’ll remove you from our list,' which prompted me to recommend a similar tactic in return - it might just do the trick in halting these rather irksome calls. Oh, and just for the record, I attempted ringing the number back. All I got was an eerie silence, which I can only assume meant they're not set up for incoming calls. Just reinforces my belief that it’s all the work of an automated nuisance - articulate, but ultimately a machine at its core. Best to play these games with it! - suspicion: Possible Scam or Phishing Attempt.

I was minding my two-year-old grandson when these idiots decided to ring me up. They butchered my name, and even after I corrected them, they still couldn't get it right. I received a rather suspicious call from a foreign woman on 01234 945006, claiming she had proof of my involvement in an accident. She was rather tight-lipped about her company's name at first but finally let slip it was supposedly Nationwide Trust Bureau located in Manchester. Strangely, this area code belongs to Bedford! It was amusing to see her squirm as I peppered her with questions, such as "how did you find out about my supposed accident?" I must admit, I never disclosed the fact that I had no such accident to speak of!

I’m constantly receiving calls from these nincompoops, but at least they’ve been kind enough to leave their number. I’ve had a word with Orange, and they’re quite aware of this dodgy scheme. It appears that if it’s a VOIP call, they can spoof any number they fancy. This might mean they’re operating from abroad. When I tried ringing the number, it informed me it’s not in their records and then abruptly disconnects. This is the result of letting our banks and other organisations set up call centres in foreign lands, which explains why they’ve got a good amount of my details but not everything. Clearly, they’ve got some sort of call screening in place to prevent us from contacting them back. Come on, you clever techies, whip up a solution to block all these absolute muppets!

Considering this number is registered in the UK, the service provider ought to be aware that they are in violation of both EU and domestic regulations, particularly as we are on the Telephone Preference Service. Should I uncover the identity of the individual behind this number, I am prepared to take legal action against them under the Protection from Harassment Act.

I had a rather odd encounter with a chap who sounded Indian, relentlessly probing for my second name. I cheekily responded with, “Why don’t you enlighten me?” This little back and forth stretched on for a good minute. Apparently, I was alleged to be involved in a car crash, yet he wouldn’t quit asking me about my surname. I made it clear that the only time I'd engage in a conversation with someone from India is whilst ordering a tasty Madras, then politely told him to shove off. He continued with his second-name inquiry, to which I started repeating “put, put, put” in a rather exaggerated manner. To my surprise, he eventually hung up. What a wally!

Blimey, this caller just won’t take a hint! They’ve bombarded us with calls at least ten times within just an hour.
