I got a call from 01234 923--- yesterday. When I picked up, not a peep came through, so I chose to hang up. It seems they take great pleasure in wasting both their time and mine with these annoying phony calls!

This chap had the audacity to say he was with O2, but it was crystal clear he wasn’t. I ended up shouting at him to clarify he was actually with EE, and he promptly cut the call. I've got strong suspicions he’s a scam artist, and this number is nothing but dodgy. Don’t buy into his claims about being linked to O2 or any other company he mentions. Best to block him right away. If you can, report it to the authorities, as it seems this number is owned by a fraudster.

I was just chilling with my daughter watching a film when my phone rang from (01234923778). Lucky for me, I saw the alert that it might be a scam. They said it's a bank calling but warned not to pick up. So I blocked the number straight away.

I initially blocked them after receiving a WhatsApp message. They instructed me to click on a link but didn't utter a word about bitcoin. Odd, right? Shortly afterwards, I got a call from a number that displayed a Bedford area code. Definitely smells like a scam! Makes you ponder how they even managed to get hold of my number in the first place.

I received a call claiming to be from Three, touting an iPhone 14 deal for just £30 a month. Sounds dodgy to me-definitely avoid picking up! They didn’t even bother with any security checks.

After quite some time contemplating whether to pick up, I took the plunge. The voice on the other end, with a distinct Asian lilt, claimed to be from my bank. They were rather insistent about needing my banking information to supposedly confirm my account.
