I got a call from someone claiming they were from the FCA about debts I supposedly owed. When I asked for more details, they just cut me off. Be very careful not to give any of your bank details to these people. At first they act like you owe money, then they ask about any loans or credit cards you might have got during the pandemic. Got a call from this number earlier claiming I owe a big amount of money. I quickly told them to stop as it’s obviously a scam. I don’t have any debts at all, always sorting my bills on time and paying cash for stuff. The moment I called them out, they just hung up on me.

I then asked for their name and employee number, at which point they abruptly terminated the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from 01234 816146, the guy had a really thick Indian accent and asked for me specifically. Then he started saying something about debt collectors saying I owed money. I flat out told him to stop messing about and that it was complete nonsense. These calls are so annoying - why hasn’t anything been done to stop them yet?

Dodgy! STAY AWAY! They had my name, and when I probed a bit, they just cut the line. They rang multiple times afterwards, and on one occasion, I answered and remarked, "Aren't you the same individual who just hung up on me?" And wouldn’t you know it-they hung up once more!

Just like others have said, this was definitely one of those dodgy debt collection calls. The person on the phone said they were told I owed money, but then quickly asked if I actually had any debts... I just ended the call. They were probably trying to trick me into some loan scam or something. The accent was really strong Indian, and what they said didn’t make much sense at all. Definitely not a trustworthy call.

I've simply had enough of these incessant calls! In just the past two days, I've received four separate calls on both my landline and my mobile. It's utterly ridiculous! It's reached a point where I'm tempted to ignore every ring that comes through or tell the caller to just clear off, which really isn't fair-especially if it’s the hospital trying to reach me. This needs to be sorted!

I received a call not long ago, and when I picked up, there was just dead air on the line. The silence was eerie, and before I knew it, they’d disconnected after about five seconds. It got me wondering, how on earth did they even get hold of my number? It’s pretty infuriating that there seems to be little action taken against those firms that peddle our personal information to con artists.
