This number came up as no caller ID, so I picked up. The voice sounded like someone from China. I tried to block it using BT call protect but then realised it stops all my Skype calls to landlines as well! Such a pain!

The number showed up as unknown on my caller ID, so I didn’t pick up thinking it was just another spam call. Still, it’s a bit odd that the caller ID didn’t recognise who it was at all.

If someone’s calling from this number, it’s probably a skype call to a mobile or landline - loads of folks use it, so you can’t really track where it’s coming from.

We've noticed this number pop up on our Caller ID as 012-3456, but it shows as unavailable. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with it?

the issue is they somehow dodge the caller id. i just see 'incoming call' pop up with no voice on the other side. the only way i find out the number is by dialling 1471. clearly, the actual number is hidden.
