Got a call from some bloke saying he was from BT, but I’m not even with them. He said they were sorting out slow internet issues and tried to get me to log in over the phone. I got annoyed when I questioned him and just ended the call.

I decided to entertain the conversation for a while, but eventually I confronted the person with the Indian accent, exposing them as the fraudsters they truly are and suggesting they should hang their heads in shame. That’s when they abruptly ended the call!

i got a call on my landline from someone claiming to be facebook. they said someone hacked my account and was using my email and phone for fraud. the email they mentioned is one i stopped using like more than a decade ago, and my home number isn’t linked to my facebook at all. i told them i suspected it was a scam because i've had about four different people call saying the same story.

Said they were from Openreach saying there was an issue with our internet. This was their third call in just a couple of days. I told them an Openreach engineer was already here and they just hung up.
