Had a few calls today from “Amazon” saying my Prime subscription was up for renewal - total scam because I’ve never even signed up for Prime! Every time, a new number popped up, and I’ve blocked them all, but still, it’s such a pain having to pick up and deal with this rubbish. I’ve decided to just let the landline ring out from now on and let the answerphone take the calls. It worries me since older folks might fall for this nonsense easily. BT ought to do more to stop these scammers right at the start.
