Some bloke with a thick Indian accent rang me up, going on about it being really urgent. He said something about new government rules and warned I'd lose my phone number if I didn’t sort it out. Felt a bit off to me.

This bloke kept ringing me up even after I said I wasn’t interested, about three times in total. He was proper persistent, wouldn’t leave me alone till I finally heard out his sales spiel. Ended up getting passed onto someone else selling stuff like Google ads, Bing ads and building websites. They also rang from this number: 0121 758 9285. Honestly, just don’t pick up if it’s this one!

First off, I had a call from someone claiming to be the Metropolitan Police - yeah right, straight to blocked. Then, out of nowhere, a persistent number from North America, 01174526812, kept ringing. Didn’t even pick up, just blocked it real quick.

Got a call from this number at 9:32 in the morning. Picked up, but as soon as I did, the call ended straight away. After seeing what others said about it, I figured it’s best to just block them.

Had a right laugh doing my best Jim Bowen from Bullseye, shouting "six darts, 101 or more!" and "Keep clear of the black, stick to the red, no points for two in a bed!" It went down a storm, had me chucklin’ proper! 😂

Really annoyed here - I'm 80 years old and struggle with moving around. I was rushing inside from the garden and ended up tripping, badly hurting my arm! All this chatter about cracking down on annoying calls - what happened to that??? It's honestly gotten even worse! Nearly everyone has a mobile these days (I do too), but those who can only cope with a landline seem to be getting hit hardest by these scammers and timewasters. We live in a high-tech era, so why hasn’t anything been done to stop this nonsense? It’s beyond frustrating.

I found this caller to be incredibly pushy and downright irritating. He introduced himself as someone from a firm named Beneficial and proceeded to inquire about various aspects of my home life. It struck me as rather suspicious, leading me to believe it was a phishing attempt. There’s no chance I’d divulge any personal information to a total stranger like that!
