Today, I received a call from a chap claiming to be a BT technician. His grasp of English was incredibly rudimentary and frankly, it felt like he was attempting to pull a fast one on me. He seemed to be fishing for some sort of assistance, but his poor command of the language was so perplexing that even if I had wanted to take him at his word, I doubt I would have comprehended a single thing he said!
