I wasn't quite able to make sense of what this woman was saying; she was rather impolite, so I decided to end the call.

Got a ring from someone claiming to be from O2’s Feedback team, saying I could get 30% off my monthly bill. I told them I’d phone back later, but they said they can’t take incoming calls. When I said I wasn’t interested, they just ended the call. After that, I got a text with a one-time code. Had a chat with O2 themselves, and turns out it’s a scam.

Had a call from some scammer pretending to be from O2 UK, bloody annoying. I wonder if folks in India ever do legit work or is it all just these dodgy calls? Labour reckons if they get in next time, they'll finally do something about these fake UK numbers popping up from overseas. Fingers crossed they actually sort this mess out.

About 4 minutes after a call from a different number pretending to be O2, I got this one too. Honestly, it’s definitely not O2, so don’t get tricked by it - just block the number straight away.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from O2, trying to push some contract change on me, even though I’m not with O2 at all. The start of the call was really loud and messy, felt super dodgy. When I told him I didn’t believe him, he got quite rude and annoyed. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

Absolutely received a ring from this number. They didn't utter a word and then just disconnected. After checking various other websites, it seems they claim to represent O2 or Currys.

I got a call saying I’m due for an upgrade with unlimited calls and texts plus a new phone and SIM. They’ve even sent me texts about it, and just now got another one. I’m not clicking any links since it’s probably a scam - my upgrade isn’t till next year, it clearly states that on my O2 online account. I’m fed up with all these annoying spam messages, it’s driving me mad. How do these people live with themselves? It’s totally awful, especially when we’re in such a tough time right now. What can we do about these scams? It’s just disgusting.

Out of nowhere, I got a text from O2 with some sort of one-time code I never asked for. Right after, my phone rang and this guy with a strong Asian accent was on the line, saying he was from O2 and needed to verify some info. I immediately called him out, told him he was a scammer and a crook, then just cut him off.

I received a rather dubious message claiming to be from O2, suggesting I could upgrade my phone to an unlimited calls and internet package. They also mentioned sending me a new device along with a SIM card. It feels like a scam, especially since they had the nerve to contact me through the O2 app itself, which is quite alarming. I truly hope O2 is aware of this situation and investigating it thoroughly. It might be wise for someone to reach out to O2 and inform them if they haven't caught wind of it yet, as I'm a bit baffled myself!

I received a call from an individual with a foreign accent from +44 1233 542469. They claimed they could offer me a reduction on my mobile phone bill. The first thing they wanted to know was how much my monthly payment was, followed by an inquiry about the type of device I was using. I decided not to engage and hung up without uttering a single word. Not long after, the same caller rang me again from +44 161 524 7008. Clearly, this is nothing more than a scam.

Some dodgy lot pretending to be Currys called me up, saying I needed to pay £40 for a phone that’d come by Tuesday. I wasn’t convinced and quickly looked up the number, turns out loads of folks have reported the same thing. I told the guy on the phone about what others had said, and he just said he’d pass my details on to another team so they could keep ringing me every day. Honestly, I’m fine with that - better than them hassling vulnerable people nonstop! Just stay sharp, if something seems off, it probably is!
