Had a call from some scammer pretending to be from O2 UK, bloody annoying. I wonder if folks in India ever do legit work or is it all just these dodgy calls? Labour reckons if they get in next time, they'll finally do something about these fake UK numbers popping up from overseas. Fingers crossed they actually sort this mess out.

About 4 minutes after a call from a different number pretending to be O2, I got this one too. Honestly, it’s definitely not O2, so don’t get tricked by it - just block the number straight away.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from O2, trying to push some contract change on me, even though I’m not with O2 at all. The start of the call was really loud and messy, felt super dodgy. When I told him I didn’t believe him, he got quite rude and annoyed. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

I got a call saying I’m due for an upgrade with unlimited calls and texts plus a new phone and SIM. They’ve even sent me texts about it, and just now got another one. Out of nowhere, I got a text from O2 with some sort of one-time code I never asked for. Right after, my phone rang and this guy with a strong Asian accent was on the line, saying he was from O2 and needed to verify some info. I immediately called him out, told him he was a scammer and a crook, then just cut him off.
