Had a call from some scammer pretending to be from O2 UK, bloody annoying. I wonder if folks in India ever do legit work or is it all just these dodgy calls? Labour reckons if they get in next time, they'll finally do something about these fake UK numbers popping up from overseas. Fingers crossed they actually sort this mess out.

About 4 minutes after a call from a different number pretending to be O2, I got this one too. Honestly, it’s definitely not O2, so don’t get tricked by it - just block the number straight away.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from O2, trying to push some contract change on me, even though I’m not with O2 at all. The start of the call was really loud and messy, felt super dodgy. When I told him I didn’t believe him, he got quite rude and annoyed. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

I got a call saying I’m due for an upgrade with unlimited calls and texts plus a new phone and SIM. They’ve even sent me texts about it, and just now got another one. I’m not clicking any links since it’s probably a scam - my upgrade isn’t till next year, it clearly states that on my O2 online account. I’m fed up with all these annoying spam messages, it’s driving me mad. How do these people live with themselves? It’s totally awful, especially when we’re in such a tough time right now. Out of nowhere, I got a text from O2 with some sort of one-time code I never asked for. Right after, my phone rang and this guy with a strong Asian accent was on the line, saying he was from O2 and needed to verify some info. I immediately called him out, told him he was a scammer and a crook, then just cut him off.

I received a rather dubious message claiming to be from O2, suggesting I could upgrade my phone to an unlimited calls and internet package. They also mentioned sending me a new device along with a SIM card. It feels like a scam, especially since they had the nerve to contact me through the O2 app itself, which is quite alarming. First thing they wanted to know was how much I normally pay each month, then they asked about my phone model. I just hung up straight away without replying.
