Got a call from this number today but it just rang once and stopped. When I rang back, I got an automated message from a female voice saying something like ‘C LMT’ or ‘Sea LMT’, and that the call would be recorded for training. I instantly felt it was dodgy so I just ended the call. I did a quick search after and saw loads of others saying the same thing. Needless to say, it’s blocked now.

Got a call saying there was an issue with my internet, but when I tried calling them back from a different phone, it just said the number wasn’t valid. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

So this caller claimed to be from the Housing Repair Line, saying they were calling about repairs for council tenants. I told them I had no idea where they got my number from, and they admitted sometimes numbers get mixed up. But it all felt dodgy to me. I couldn't find any info on this 'Housing Repair Line' online, and the number had already been searched a few times, which makes me think they're ringing lots of random people. Just to clarify, I’ve never been a council tenant, so watch out if you get a call like this - it smells like a scam.

I’ve been getting loads of calls from 01233 lately. Picked up one and there was a woman talking really quickly about some housing thing, but her voice sounded shaken like she'd been through a bad accident. When I asked her to slow down or repeat herself, she just hung up. I went ahead and blocked every number starting with 01233 now.
