Right after I put in a code from 02, a dodgy call came through straight away. I had asked for the code, so it's a bit fishy.

I got a ring one Monday arvo while I was tied up in a meeting, so couldn’t pick up. The number showed as being from Ashford, Kent, but honestly, with all the dodgy reviews floating about, I reckon it’s just someone faking that location.

Got a call earlier, but there was mostly silence on the line. Then a strange voice came through before they just cut off. Very weird.

I received a call from a person claiming to be from EE, suggesting I could get a discount on my existing contract. When I requested more proof that they were genuinely representing EE, they couldn't provide anything to back up their claims.

I've had a call from someone touting a 1971 Lotus Cortina but asking for the same amount as a 184 Sierra. I'm a bit sceptical about whether this is dodgy or not, but it certainly seems like an unwise offer regardless.

The vehicle is undoubtedly genuine, yet it seems that the funds are rather elusive, wouldn't you agree?

Dodgy blokes! I can't stand having rubbish like that cluttering up my phone!

I received a rather persistent call from someone claiming to be from O2, insisting that I should provide them with a code to claim a 40% discount on my monthly bill. What a fantastic deal, or so they claimed! Supposedly, O2 had directed their customer service team to reach out to customers like me as a form of recompense for the lacklustre service and dodgy coverage we've been experiencing lately. They were incredibly pushy, asserting they were indeed representatives from O2. I can only assume that they manage to trick quite a few unsuspecting folks with this ruse. In the end, I decided to just hang up.

Received a call purporting to be from O2, but it's definitely a scam.

I received multiple calls from this number, and they didn’t bother to pick up when I tried responding. Oddly enough, I even got a code that purportedly came from O2! They rang me thrice within half a minute. My recommendation? Just like I did: Ignore the calls entirely and block the number without a second thought!

I could hardly make out what the person on the other end was saying; their accent was quite thick and muddled. It seemed they were attempting to peddle mobile services.

I didn't pick up the call, and they didn't bother to leave a message. Strangely enough, earlier today I got a one-time password from O2 that I certainly hadn't asked for. Quite odd, isn't it?

I received a call purporting to be from Vodafone, presenting an offer that seemed almost unbelievable- a top-of-the-range phone and a monthly plan for a price lower than what I'm currently paying with them. When I inquired about the possibility of picking it up in-store, the answer was a firm no. This whole encounter struck me as rather suspicious, and I'm inclined to think it might be a scam. However, I didn't pursue the conversation further to confirm my doubts.

Received a peculiar call from a chap with a distinctly Indian accent, calling himself Kevin-an intriguing name choice! He claimed to be representing Currys, enticing me with an offer for an iPhone 12 for merely £15 a month. When I inquired about the benefits of switching from my current iPhone 11 to a 12, he upsold me to an iPhone 14 at £38 monthly! I countered with a proposition: if he could do the 14 for £20 a month including the SIM card, I might consider it. He agreed rather eagerly. I decided to string him along a bit longer before eventually stating I’d check their website instead; he hung up shortly after. Definitely sounds like a dodgy scheme!
