I've had a right run-in with these chancers! They phoned me up claiming to be from my phone network, offering a sweet deal for my loyalty. They pretended to be from O2 and said they were going to send me a one-off passcode via text to confirm my account and snag the discount. Of course, it was all a ruse! If you provide them with that code, they could easily access your account and make off with all your personal info, even your banking particulars. Do steer clear of these blokes!
