Somebody called me saying they were from O2 and offered to knock 20% off my bill. They then asked for a code they said O2 sent me by text. Don’t ever give that code to anyone. Best to ignore the call and block it straight away. Report it if you can.

Definitely one of those dodgy calls trying to scam me.

Picked up the phone and some guy with a strong Asian accent asked if I was using O2, which I’m definitely not. I asked him straight up which company he was working for, and suddenly he got rude, pushing again about O2. I told him he was just a sneaky little scammer, gave him a piece of my mind and ended the call. Then I blocked the number, reported it and erased it. These annoying calls keep coming, sometimes multiple times a day. Why aren’t the networks cracking down harder on this? It’s really getting on my nerves.

Got a call from a number I didn’t know and there was no voicemail left. Pretty sure it’s just scammers or some nuisance. My tip? Just ignore it and for the love of all that is good, don’t ring them back!

This number rang me out of the blue, and when I picked up, there was just silence. No weird noises or anything, just quiet on their end. After a few seconds, maybe 4 or 5, they ended the call. Really strange.

Received a call from Voxbone today during the afternoon. Gave them a moment of my time, but then informed the caller that my mobile number is listed with TPS, the Telephone Preference Service. I made it clear I'd have to report them for contacting me on a mobile that’s on the TPS list, which could result in them facing a fine. At that point, she abruptly ended the call!

I recently received a call from this number, and a woman on the line stated she was calling from "EE." I mentioned that it was amusing since I'm not even an EE customer, and she promptly disconnected! Absolutely hilarious!

I’ve just experienced something similar myself! Received a call from that very number claiming to be from Vodafone. When I mentioned that my partner manages our phone contracts, she insisted that her call wasn’t about contracts but rather about a £25 upgrade. Then she proceeded to inquire about the phone I own. I quickly realised it was a scam and informed her of my suspicion before ending the call.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be 'John' from O2, supposedly offering me a SIM upgrade. When I pressed them about their identity and the reason behind their unsolicited call, they abruptly ended the conversation. It’s clearly a scam, and I've since gotten a message from O2 alerting me that someone was attempting to acquire a passcode on my account. Please, be wary of these tricksters and don’t let yourselves be fooled by their deceitful tactics!

My phone has flagged this as a potential scam, and I’ve already put a stop to a fair few calls from numbers that are almost identical, just one digit off. Just added yet another to the blocked list!

It seems that they’re posing as “Currys PC World,” which, I gather, is meant to be some sort of mobile phone retailer. Quite the cheek, don’t you think?

Had a delightful chat with a chap named 'Brian' - rather disheartened when he suddenly cut the line after we were discussing a rather splendid offer. Fingers crossed I’ll get a chance to speak with 'Brian' from Virgin once more!
