Got a dodgy call claiming it was about my PPI. They said I had to sign up for some kind of life insurance to get my PPI back without paying tax on it. They set up a direct debit for this insurance, said I'd get my PPI payout after. I cancelled the policy later, but they already had my sort code and bank account details for the direct debit. Pretty scammy if you ask me.
