I got a call from a woman claiming she could lower my TV insurance from £7 to £5. Thing is, I don’t even have TV insurance, but I let her keep talking anyway. After she confirmed who I was, she handed me over to some so-called "Manager." He asked which bank I used. When I mentioned they must already know, since they said I was paying £7 for TV insurance, he said he wasn’t with my current provider, just someone offering to cut costs. I said I wasn’t giving any banking info, and he just hung up on me.
