Got a call at around 8:50 in the morning, they were asking if I was Mrs something or other. When I asked who it was, the caller repeated the question instead of answering. I asked again who it was, then they just cut off. When I answered again, there was a pause and some weird noise before they spoke. Sounds like a call centre to me. Another number added to my BT block list, sorted.

The moment they asked me for my visa card details, I told them I thought it was a scam and hung up straight away. They claimed to be from Telephone Preference and said they could block annoying calls for me.
