7 yearsGot a call but they just dropped it straight away. Seems like one of those auto-dialers checking if the line’s active so they can flood you with annoying calls later on!7 yearsI’ve gotten calls from this number a couple of times lately. They rang again just last night. I’m quite old and really don’t appreciate calls late in the evening. The phone only buzzes briefly and then cuts off before I even get a chance to pick up!7 yearsI got a call from this number saying the domain names I bought through some place called The Domain Registry were basically not renewed because the company had shut down without notifying anyone. They claimed the domains weren't updated on time and offered to transfer them back for £75 each plus VAT. I tried tracking down the company behind the call using their email but couldn’t locate it as an active business, though I did find a ltd company with a similar name based in Barrow in Furness. Turns out, idomains Ltd isn’t operating anymore. The Domain RegistryBarrow - in - FurnessiDomains Ltd8 yearsI've received a similar call attempting to hawk a domain name for a whopping £500. I asked them to dispatch some information to my email, but I've yet to hear anything back. Quite the nuisance, really!10 yearsI inquired about the owner but received no clarity on the purpose of the call. They're apparently planning to ring back at a later time.11 yearsSomething pretty much the same just went down to me! I gave no details at all, and she just hung up on me! So damn rude!11 yearsThis lady is an absolute con artist. Not only that, she's incredibly rude too. She rang me claiming to be from Nominet, then tried to pitch a .com domain for sale. But Nominet only deal with .co.uk domains, they have no involvement with .com at all. I've reported the number to Nominet, Ofcom, and since they had the audacity to call me again today, I'm now going to involve the police through Action Fraud. When they phoned today, she asked if I was the business owner. I asked her who she was, and she said she needed to verify who she was speaking to first. I told her she should identify herself before demanding that info. She then swore at me and ended the call. I rang back, only to be addressed rudely and then hung up on once more. I kept calling back repeatedly - turns out that's a good way to bother them. I've already called them over 60 times today and will keep going until they either reveal who they are or the number's disconnected. She then had the nerve to accuse me of harassment! I told her to call the police then. She said she didn’t have to because I was harassing her. I reminded her that harassment is a criminal offence and she’d better ring the police. She swore at me again and hung up. More people should do this - they’d either stop or change their number pretty quickly. Caller refused to give her name or any company details but they're definitely trying to sell domain names.NominetOfcomAction Fraud11 yearsProper rude experience. Got a random call from someone called Eleanor, who wanted me to verify loads of details about websites. When I asked what the call was for, she just kept pushing for info. I said I wasn’t comfortable sharing anything, and then she went on about me being impolite and unprofessional. Absolutely useless, so I ended the call. Honestly awful.
