Got a call but they just dropped it straight away. Seems like one of those auto-dialers checking if the line’s active so they can flood you with annoying calls later on!

I’ve gotten calls from this number a couple of times lately. They rang again just last night. I’m quite old and really don’t appreciate calls late in the evening. The phone only buzzes briefly and then cuts off before I even get a chance to pick up!

I got a call from this number saying the domain names I bought through some place called The Domain Registry were basically not renewed because the company had shut down without notifying anyone. They claimed the domains weren't updated on time and offered to transfer them back for £75 each plus VAT. I tried tracking down the company behind the call using their email but couldn’t locate it as an active business, though I did find a ltd company with a similar name based in Barrow in Furness. Turns out, idomains Ltd isn’t operating anymore.

I've received a similar call attempting to hawk a domain name for a whopping £500. I asked them to dispatch some information to my email, but I've yet to hear anything back. Quite the nuisance, really!

I inquired about the owner but received no clarity on the purpose of the call. They're apparently planning to ring back at a later time.

I've just experienced something quite like what was mentioned earlier! Whatever you do, steer clear of sharing any details - I had the phone hung up on me too! Absolutely impolite!

This woman is, quite frankly, nothing short of a fraudster. Not only is she a fraudster, but she also possesses a remarkably rude demeanor. She had the audacity to claim she was phoning from Nominet, only to launch into a sales pitch for a .com domain name. It’s laughable, really, as Nominet is solely responsible for overseeing .co.uk domains and has zero affiliation with .com addresses. I’ve gone ahead and reported her number to both Nominet and Ofcom, and since she foolishly decided to ring me again today, I’m now compelled to escalate the matter to the police through Action Fraud. During today’s call, she inquired whether I was the owner of my business. When I pressed her for identification, she insisted it was necessary to confirm who she was speaking to. I countered that her own identity should come first before asking about mine. The exchange quickly turned sour; she resorted to swearing before abruptly ending the call. I attempted to return the call, only to be met with rudeness again before yet another hang-up. Determined, I kept calling back, which turned out to be a rather amusing tactic. They’ve endured over 60 calls from me today, and I shall persist until I uncover who’s behind this, or their number is taken out of service. In a rather cheeky twist, she had the nerve to accuse me of harassment! I cheerfully suggested she involve the police if she felt so inclined. Her response was to insist she didn't need to - I was the one harassing her. I reminded her that harassment is indeed a criminal offence, and it would be wise for her to consider that. Again, she swore and hung up. I genuinely believe that more folks should take a stand like this; they’ll soon find themselves either ceasing these calls or changing their number altogether. - caller: She wouldn’t disclose either her name or company details, but her intention was evidently to sell domain names.

Absolutely appalling! I received an utterly uninvited call, where the person on the line-who identified herself as 'Eleanor'-demanded that I verify various details regarding web addresses. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, instead of providing clarity, she persisted in trying to extract more information from me. I firmly refused to share any further details, and in response, she impudently accused me of lacking both courtesy and professionalism. It was quite outrageous, so I decided to terminate the call. Truly disgraceful behavior! The caller was 'Eleanor'.

I had quite the unpleasant encounter with a rather discourteous woman who flatly refused to engage with us or provide any details we requested. After a short while, we decided to end the call, but she persisted and rang back three times, insisting on speaking to the owner. Naturally, we chose not to share any information with her.

I had the misfortune of receiving a call from this horrendously impolite lady. She was attempting to peddle some completely pointless .net web address. Once she realised I wasn’t the company's director, she had the audacity to snicker with someone on her end before abruptly ending the call. I attempted to ring her back, but unsurprisingly, there was no response. - Caller: Just a thoroughly unpleasant individual.

I recently got a call from this number and was met with an exceptionally impolite woman who demanded to speak with the owner. When I inquired about her identity, she abruptly ended the call. I decided to ring her back, pointing out the abrupt disconnection on her part, but she told me to bugger off and hung up once more. Quite the experience, I must say!

Is this yet another one of those pesky cold calls about PPI or a supposed accident claim?
