Just like loads of others, they called me out of the blue and said they had details about a car accident. I'm thinking they're those ambulance chasers, probably trying to get you to agree so they can push compensation or something. I told them no and they ended up hanging up straight away!

Today I picked up my phone and heard no one talking, just a recorded voice. It claimed to be from Fresh Contacts and gave a number to ring if I wanted to take my details off their list. They kept saying there was “nothing to worry about.” I ended the call but decided against calling back, worried it might be a pricey premium number.

So this number rang me up today, and the bloke said something like "hey, calling from fresh contacts". He wanted to chat about some damage report I supposedly filed on my car a while back. Told him I never made any such report. Then, he just hung up on me.

Got a call out of the blue from this number, a woman speaking with a strong Liverpool accent. Strange thing was, she knew my name and kept going on about a car crash I apparently had - which I definitely haven’t! I was feeling a bit rough and was tied up, so trying to understand her was like trying to catch smoke. She said I’d ticked some sort of box agreeing to be phoned, but I honestly can’t remember doing that. Then, out of nowhere, the call just ended without much explanation. Very odd.
