On the 17th of May 2016, at about 3:35 pm, I got a call. When I answered, all I heard was silence followed by some kind of robot voice. I’ve just blocked the number now!

I kept waiting but there was no one there when I answered.

I got this recorded message saying they were some kind of direct marketing outfit - sounded really fancy and innocent, but it was just them trying to sell something. They said I shouldn't worry and gave a phone number to ring if I didn’t want my info used. Seriously, is this how they’re dodging the rules about silent and unwanted calls now? I just blocked the number. Why on earth should I have to call them back to stop them from contacting me? Just don’t ring me at all, thanks!
