Got a call from someone with a really thick Asian accent, tried saying something then just cut me off. Went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

Received a call from 01229200018, and when I picked up, it was completely silent on the other end. Quite odd, really.

Fraudsters abound! It's such a relief to have platforms like this where we can verify numbers. I've put that one on my blacklist!

Fed up with loads of spammers pretending to be from Car Phone Warehouse but calling from all different places!

Don't know who it was, I never pick up unknown numbers anymore, just block straight away. My phone's got spam filter that spots these calls. They've rung me like three times this morning from different dodgy numbers while I was busy working. Proper pain in the neck!

I got some answers but no one said a word, then the call just dropped.

Got a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent, cold calling me out of the blue. She started with "How's your day going?" before launching into the usual scam spiel. I told her, "I know who you are, why do you keep ringing me?" She suddenly went silent and then just ended the call. I've blocked the number now. Definitely a scammer.

I received a call from 01229 200018. The woman on the line claimed to be calling from Three, but I could distinctly hear someone in the background identifying himself as being from Virgin. It all sounded rather dodgy, so I decided to hang up and block the number immediately.

He claimed to be representing Carphone Warehouse and proceeded to inquire about my personal information. I made it quite clear that I wasn't interested and that I had never purchased anything from them. He abruptly ended the call after that.

I decided against picking up as I suspected it was just another scam call. Honestly, I don’t have any acquaintances in Barrow-in-Furness. Seems I’m not the only one who’s been harassed by these callers! They truly are a nuisance, aren’t they?

I ignored the call and didn’t answer.

Sounds like it might be one of those bank fraud calls to me.

Yesterday I ended my contract with Three and asked them for my PAC code. Then, out of nowhere today, Carphone Warehouse rang me. I find it really worrying how they seemed to know straight away that I was no longer tied to my contract and decided to cold call me trying to push a phone deal within just a day.

Didn’t answer because the number was unfamiliar. Probably one of those scam calls.

I didn’t pick up the call, but it definitely seemed a bit suspicious.

Received a call from an unknown number, and they didn’t bother to leave a message. I’ve gone ahead and blocked them.

I found myself utterly baffled by the conversation and decided it was best to simply end the call.

It’s high time that the authorities step up to protect our elderly population, who are particularly vulnerable. I’m currently liaising with the police on this matter and have a strong lead on these scam artists. I implore anyone who has encountered these individuals to report them post-haste; it’s crucial we track them down effectively. With today’s technology, their whereabouts can be easily traced, and it’s frankly astonishing how naive they are, as they often slip up and reveal their true colours. I've been in contact with several telecommunications companies, advocating for increased measures against these deceitful practices. My message to the scammers is clear: your days are numbered, and the long arm of the law is closing in on you. I find it utterly perplexing how they manage to sleep at night, knowing full well they’re pilfering hard-earned money from innocent individuals. They seem devoid of any conscience, blissfully unaware of the havoc they wreak on others' lives, even exploiting the finances of those who are no longer with us. Just the other day, I had a conversation with both a male and a female scammer who were aggressively pressuring vulnerable victims-it's been going on for far too long. These individuals must understand: they are not invincible. This website, too, is nothing but a sham, and the reality is they will soon face the consequences of their actions. To those still involved in this nefarious game of deception, know that your time is running out. If anyone out there has valuable information on these crooks, there are hefty rewards on offer for bringing them to justice. For anyone with insights, it's a wise choice to step forward to your local police station. You might find yourself receiving a caution instead of a worse fate, as you could be looking at serious charges of fraud and money laundering that lead to long-term imprisonment. The police and I stand ready to take action, and we await cooperation from all who have been affected. Let’s put an end to this dastardly behaviour once and for all. Cheers!

I had a call from this person who was seriously rude and just didn’t seem interested in talking properly. It was quite off-putting, honestly.

I received a rather dubious call purportedly from someone named Mark, who claimed to represent Carphone Warehouse. To be quite frank, it didn’t strike me as credible in the slightest. I'd recommend steering clear of this number and blocking it altogether.

Just disregard that phone call; it’s definitely a scammer trying to pull a fast one on you.

Earlier, I received a call on my mobile from this number and had a bad feeling about it, so I opted not to pick up. It could well be one of those dodgy scam calls that are doing the rounds lately. If you see this number popping up on your phone, I suggest taking my advice: just delete it and block it straightaway. Better safe than sorry, I say!

Received a call from an Asian gentleman inquiring if I was interested in changing my mobile provider. Seems a bit fishy, especially considering what others have reported.

I received a call this morning from the number 01206 592005, with the caller asserting they were from Carphone Warehouse. They were touting a fantastic deal to buy me out of my mobile contract, promising the latest smartphone for just £30 a month. I politely requested that they ring me back, as I wanted some time to look into the offer properly. To my surprise, they rang me again later from a different number, 01229 200018. However, when I informed them that I wasn’t keen on proceeding, the individual on the other end turned quite nasty, hurling abuse and expletives at me. Quite unacceptable behaviour, if you ask me!
