4 monthsToday, I recieved a phone call claiming to be from the DWP conducting a survey about universal credit. I told them if they're really interested, they should use my UC journal instead, as I wasn't comfortable continuing the conversation. Ended the call there and reported it because it smelled like a scam trying to get personal details.DWPUC4 monthsGot a voicemail from someone claiming to be IPSOS - what a load of rubbish! Just went ahead and blocked the number then deleted it straight away.4 monthsGot a call from someone claiming they were from Ipsos conducting a survey for some big banks and building societies, but they wouldn’t say which ones exactly. Bit suspicious if you ask me! My bank (the CO-OP) runs their own surveys and I just ignore those calls, so I definitely wasn’t about to spill any info to a random stranger ringing me up out of the blue. Seems like a classic scam to me.IpsosCOOP4 monthsGot this number calling me like 4 times in one day. It popped up as spam, so I’m just going to block it and let my phone company know what’s going on.4 monthsGot a call from this number twice within a day, ignored it the first time but picked up the second because I recognised the digits. Some bloke said he was from a marketing firm doing a survey. Didn’t quite get the company name, and it sounded unfamiliar anyway, so I’m guessing it’s a dodgy call trying to scam or fish for info. Just a heads up - don’t answer numbers you don’t know and definitely don’t hand over any personal details to strangers!4 monthsI tried calling back but the number was blocked, they said it was some marketing company called Epso or something like that.Epso4 monthsGot a call from 01228935332 but didn’t leave any voicemail. The call came outside of regular business hours, which made me suspicious it might be some kind of scam. Don’t recognise the number at all.4 monthsGot a call from someone claiming they were with Ipsos, working for the Department for Work and Pensions. It showed up on my phone as potential spam.IpsosDepartment for Work and Pensions2 yearsI’ve been getting calls from this number every single day but no one ever talks or leaves a message. I don’t know anyone in Carlisle, so I’m guessing it’s just some sort of scam. I’ve just blocked it now.CarlisleSubmit Your Own Report (01228 935332)
