This number called me pretending to be Jenny Smith from BT’s tech support. She said she was in London, but the area code showed Carlisle - which was a dead giveaway. I played along for a bit, then told her I knew it was a scam and wasn’t buying it. She got all rude and threatened to disconnect my internet. I just told her to go ahead and do it, then hung up on her!
