Just got this call from a strange number claiming "Your internet service will be cut off - press 1 for billing, 2 for tech help." The voice sounded like a stern British woman but it was totally automated, as it talked over my voicemail greeting. My phone marked it as coming from abroad, but when I checked with BT 1474, they said it's actually from Carlisle. Didn’t realise Carlisle had been outsourced to India now. As expected, the next step would’ve been them asking for bank info to "sort out" the account, which is code for clearing your balance. Classic scam, really.
