Someone said they were from Curry's. They actually said, "we’re calling to offer you the newest iPhone with unlimited stuff for £15 a month. Interested?" Totally sounded like a scam. When I asked what model the newest iPhone was, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. I asked where they got my number from and they just mumbled "a database." Ended the call as soon as I mentioned my calls get recorded and my number’s on the TPS list.

This number rang me twice. First time I picked up, they said it was Carphone Warehouse. I told them I wasn’t interested and didn’t want to carry on the call. They called again today at 4:45, but I just ignored it. I’ve blocked the number both times now. Looks like they’re using some kinda list on repeat. Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from Carphone Warehouse and could sort me a better mobile deal. When I asked where he got my number from, he just said they’re my mobile network (which they clearly aren’t). Definitely a scam.

I did some digging on this number online, and it’s rather evident that it’s nothing but a scam. Previous inquiries reveal it has been linked to telemarketing fraud. Now it seems it’s morphed into a phone company con? Best to steer clear of this number entirely and make sure you BLOCK it!
