Got a call asking if I owned my place and about my insurance. Hung up and blocked the number right away.

It’s not that I don’t want to help, I just don’t trust giving money over the phone or online - I’m worried it’s a scam. I prefer to support local charities in person.

I got a call from a woman with an accent who wanted to know if I was Mrs Cunningham. I told her she must have the wrong number. Then she asked if I owned any property. I asked her to clarify which one she meant, but before I could get an answer, she just said goodbye and ended the call.
