I recently received a call from a company purporting to be Nubu Feet Pads, claiming I’d made a purchase not long ago. They offered me five packs for £55 - quite a contrast to the £29 I paid for just one pack over a year ago. Instinctively, I sensed a scam, so I stayed on the line to gauge what they knew. They mentioned they would deduct the money from the same card I previously used, but that was futile since my card details have changed. They then cheekily asked for my birthday, promising a gift in return. At that point, I decided it was best to hang up. Interestingly, my phone identified the number as a known scam.
