Got a call from an Asian guy saying he was from Marks and Spencer. Like some others said here, when I asked why he wanted to know my age, he just snapped, "you f****** idiots don’t get anything" and then just cut me off.

Spoke to a bloke with a strong accent working in some noisy call centre. He seemed to know all my address info (proper creepy). When I asked who he was calling for, he muttered something I couldn’t quite catch, maybe Nationwide? Not sure at all. Then he asked if I was aged between 40 and 80, and just hung up after that. No clue what info they wanted from that. He didn’t try to push any sales either, so I guess he got nowhere.

I got a call from an Asian bloke asking if he was speaking to me. When I asked who was on the line, he said he was XX from Samsung and wanted to know if I was Mrs XX. I asked what the call was about, and just like others have said, he started asking if my phone was a Samsung or an iPhone. I told him it was none of his concern and told him to bugger off (I reckon I was pretty polite for once!).

Got a call from an Asian bloke who wanted to check if my postcode was right, which it wasn’t. Then he asked if I was happy with my current credit card provider. When I asked if he was trying to sell PPI, he said no. After that, he just said goodbye. Bit strange!

Got a missed call and it’s defo the same bloke or one of his mates who rang me yesterday. Proper rude too. Had a right argument when he called from some other random number 01516392446. They clearly ain’t checking their own lists or the tosser would’ve guessed I wouldn’t take kindly to it. If he rings again, I’m just giving him the address of the nearest police station and see how he likes that.

Today, I got a call on my mobile from 01227 712576. It was a man with an Asian accent asking for me by name, and he seemed to believe I was the person he wanted. He said he wasn’t selling anything but then asked if my phone was an iPhone. I just said that was something only I’d know, and after that he got a bit rude, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from a guy sounding Asian, said he was with Nationwide. He asked for my name and postcode, which made me suspicious right away. If it was legit, they’d already have that info. I wasn’t giving much away and a true Nationwide rep would tell you why they were calling instead of just ending the call. When I told him straight up he didn’t sound like he worked there, he just hung up on me.

This number has been ringing me for a while now, some Asian bloke asking for a mate of mine. When I told him he had the wrong number, he got really nasty and honestly a bit scary. After getting months of awful abuse from him, I lost it today and asked where he was calling from. He said something like ‘nationwide’! I was gobsmacked. I've encountered some rather unpleasant individuals when dealing with this number. I just received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Nationwide. They had both my phone number and postcode, which was a bit dodgy.
