Received a call on my mobile from this number earlier. It was a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC, stating there was a fraud case linked to my name and urging me to press 1. If I didn’t act swiftly, they warned a warrant would be issued and my arrest would be imminent. Charming, isn’t it? I can only imagine that by pressing 1, I’d either end up with a hefty phone bill or someone would be fishing for my card info. Absolutely appalling!
