Got a cold call earlier today, even though I’m on the TPS list. The caller claimed to be from British Telecom and said there was an issue with my IP address, telling me to press 1. When I rang the number back, it said it was invalid. Looks like a scam to me. I’m with Plusnet, which is owned by BT, so perhaps it’s connected. I think the same person called me yesterday from 01795425596. Feels like they’re just trying to fish for info.
