Got a call from a lady saying she was from BT Openreach about issues with my internet speed. Thing is, I don’t even use BT for my broadband. I asked her why she was calling so early and what exactly she needed, then she just hung up on me. Proper annoying!

This morning, I got a rather bothersome call claiming that my BT broadband was out of order, and they were after my account number. The thing is, we don’t even have BT broadband! I gave the chap a piece of my mind, as he didn’t sound British at all. Unsurprisingly, he was quite rude and aggressive, so I swiftly ended the call!

On 16th Nov 2018, at around 1.55pm, I got a call from 01227374928. The woman on the line was talking really fast, like non stop, and I couldn’t make out much except it had something to do with BT broadband. I told her to ring me again later, and when she did, before I could even get a word in, she started up again at full speed. I just ended the call. Later, I tried phoning the number back but it said the number was unrecognised. Quite annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach, telling me my phone line wasn’t working at its best. I asked how I could be sure it was really BT Openreach, and after stalling a bit, they passed me to another bloke. They hung up once I questioned the instruction to press Windows+R keys and I asked what Windows command they wanted me to do. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam trying to mess with my computer.

I've had a couple of calls from various numbers, each one saying they're from a different internet company I’ve never signed up with. They kept asking to get into my computer. Today, there was some odd background noise for a short while, then I heard this unsettling laugh before they just ended the call. Proper strange!

It's frustrating as I haven't given it out or put it online anywhere so how they got it is a mystery.
