I picked up but there was no sound, just dead silence. Pretty sure it was a scam, so I ended up blocking the number.

I picked up but ended up hanging up straight away. Now they’re blocked.

Nobody said anything - just let it go on ringing, which is strange because normally they hang up after like 4 or 5 rings, trying to get you to return the call. But this time, no message was left. So I’d guess it was probably one of those scam calls.

I received a call from an Indian gentleman who was attempting to verify my address. When I found the situation amusing and chuckled, his demeanor took a sudden turn; he became rather aggressive and started hurling abuse my way. Quite an unexpected twist, I must say!
