Had a call from some robot thing saying it was 'BestWayAgency' and that apparently they heard I've had some kind of accident. It was one of those recorded messages that replies to whatever you say, and if you admit to any accident, it puts you through to an actual person. Total con. They ring me maybe every month but always using different phone numbers.

Got a call from Lydia once more, claiming to be from Bestway like all the others. It was just a recorded message. Strangely, I've just been in an accident that wasn't my fault, yet there's no cause for them to ring me up. The number showed up as 0116 009 0449, somewhere in Leicester. What works best for me is keeping quiet; after a brief silence, they simply cut off. Total scam, best to ignore these lot.

They just rang me again a minute ago and got really nasty when I told them to take me off their call list - they actually accused me of ringing them! When I asked for their official business address, they only gave me a building number 75 and said the postcode was CT1 2NR, but no street name. The whole call was extremely rude. The number they used was 0116 009 7629, claiming it was from Canterbury, but it shows up as from Leicester on my phone.

Got a call from 01160094259 and it kicked off with some automated voice talking about an accident I supposedly had, which was total rubbish because I hadn't been in any. Then a man came on the line and he got really aggressive, shouting at me like I was the one in the wrong. He claimed he was from something called Bestway Agency. Just a heads up, I'd be careful if that number rings you!

Beware of Bestway Agency! This lot are completely against the law. If your number is listed with the TPS and you’ve told them not to call, you can actually report it and they could be fined huge amounts. Don’t just ignore these calls, report them to the Telephone Preference Service!

I got a call from Bestway Agency, just like others here mentioned. At first, it was some automated voice, then they passed me on to a man who claimed he wasn’t a robot but an actual person. He said he wanted to talk about compensation relating to a car accident I supposedly had, even though I told him I wasn’t hurt. He insisted that didn’t matter. I explained my car was parked when it happened. When I asked where he got my number, he said from the road traffic accident dept or something like that. Didn’t feel right, so I ended the call and blocked the number.

The guy said Canterbury and snapped at me, telling me not to waste their time and to be clever about it. Honestly, the nerve!

Similar to some others, I got a call from Best Way Agency about a car crash. When I questioned who had passed on my details, he claimed it was from the RTA department. I then asked "which department exactly?" and he had no reply and just cut off the call. Honestly, they need to be a bit more convincing! The number they rang from was 01227 044184.

Bestway lot are proper annoying, but if I’m not busy I like to keep them chatting. Eventually, they ask if anyone else was there, and I normally say it was either their mum or sister, but they couldn’t see much ‘cos their head was on my knee. If you’ve got a bit of time, it’s worth keeping them on the line - stops them bothering someone else who might not be as patient.
