His voice carried traces of a Southern African accent, and he claimed to be working with the Traffic Bureau, supposedly on behalf of ABI - the Association of British Insurers. He said he was checking in on my ongoing claim regarding injuries from a road mishap, ensuring everything was being handled correctly. However, he seemed a bit bewildered as he had the date of my incident all wrong-by almost two months, no less! To top it off, he mixed up my house number in a cul-de-sac that has a single postcode for all of us.
