Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from TPS; he knew my full name, address, and postcode. He kept insisting I had to talk to him to ‘refresh’ our TPS registration. I challenged him and he got pretty pushy, saying I had to listen or the service would be cut off. When he mentioned our phone bill was paid by direct debit, I knew straight away it was a scam. TPS is free, and my legit registration wouldn’t need or know those kind of details. Seems like he was trying to trick me into giving bank or card info. Best to just hang up and ignore!

Got a call from some guy claiming to be from tps, saying i’d paid 2 years back by card and needed to update my details to keep the service going. When i said no, he asked for my bank info. I just played along till he gave up and hung up. They really seem to know loads about you and sound proper convincing. I enjoy messing with them though!
