This number has rung me up 4 times today!!! The bloke claimed he was with BT about our internet and landline. I told him he wasn’t from BT and asked for BT’s proper contact number - then I just hung up! When I tried calling this number back, it played some automated message from 13BPO about energy deals!!! Total scam, watch out folks!!

Beware of calls about renewing home appliance protection that you never even signed up for. It’s just a scam trying to take your money for something that doesn’t exist.

Got a call about some broadband scam, sounds like the dude was straight out of some dodgy TV show, maybe that punkah waller from It Aint Alf Hot Mum or something. Proper fishy if you ask me.

Got a call from a blocked number saying they were from BT, about phone and broadband stuff - total spam, so I just ignored it.

I got a call from someone claiming to be BT trying to get me to renew my contract. Thought it was a bit odd as BT don’t usually ring like that. When I asked if it was a scam, bloke just ended the call straight away.

Had another ring from Domestic Appliance. Tried calling back, but just got some automated message from 1 in 3 BPO, which I think is some telemarketing outfit based in the Philippines. They were pushing to get me to set up a direct debit, claiming they’re a company based in Brighton. When I asked if they’d come all the way to Dover to fix my stuff, they just ended the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Was just watching some Scam Interceptors and guess what, they rang me 😂. They were pretending to be from some drainage protection company. Told them my drains are absolutely fine, and they ended the call immediately. Classic!

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, but when I asked for details, they quickly switched to saying they were just calling on behalf of BT. I confronted them about it, and then they just hung up. Number’s been blocked since.

I called the number back and got a recorded message claiming to be from 1 in 3 BPO, which is a firm based in the Philippines. When I confronted the caller and asked where they were located, they said the UK, but when I pressed for more detail, they couldn’t give a specific place and just ended the call. Turns out, it was another one of those common scams about white goods warranty.

Got a call from someone wanting to chat with the business owner or manager. They said they were from BT and mentioned something about a contract ending. I told them I couldn’t assist and mentioned that if they were really from BT, they wouldn’t have that number as we handle that ourselves. They just hung up after that. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone wanting to talk to the business owner but they didn’t even say who they were straight away. When I asked, they said they were with BT and were ringing about renewing services. I said no thanks, but they kept pushing, refusing to hang up and asking for just a couple of minutes to discuss some offers and manage our renewal. Total scam, watch out!
