I picked up my landline and got one of those automated messages - looks like another scam call!

08/10/23 around 10:44 in the morning, got a call from 01226 728 649. The classic recorded message about my visa and some cash being taken, told me to press 1 to stop it, so I did. Then some weird music started playing, bit different from usual. Next thing, a bloke claiming to be Michael from Amazon popped up asking how he could assist me. I told him to come up with a fresh scam because this one’s getting old. After that, ‘Michael’ just dropped the call.
